The Event
Each event is tailored to a specific age range, with brackets varying depending on the venue, vibe and guest interest. The goal is always the same: a balanced group of curious, like-minded guests who are open to meeting others for conversation, friendship, and perhaps something more
Welcome drinks upon arrival and a chance to meet guests before being seated. A table plan will be set for you to dine on long tables and enjoy a delicious set course dinner, chosen in advance. Halfway through the evening, guests will switch seats to keep the conversation flowing and offer the chance to connect with more than just those to your left and right.
No apps, no bios, no pressure, just good food, shared interests and the possibility of something real.

The Good Taste Club is brought to you by Melissa and Lindsey, the women behind Our Happy Place events. With a shared love of beautiful gatherings, soulful conversation and thoughtful hosting, Melissa and Lindsey created The Good Taste Club for those who find dating apps underwhelming, and wanted something different, something real.
They'll be hosting each event in person, gently guiding the evening, introducing guests, and making sure everything runs with ease and warmth. No awkward silences. No forced chats. Just a relaxed evening in very good hands.
