Join us for the very first gathering of The Good Taste Club - a new dining experience for those who are single, curious, and open to meeting like-minded others in a relaxed, thoughtfully hosted setting. This isn’t speed dating, or matchmaking! There are no awkward games or forced chats. Just a beautifully curated evening in one of York’s most atmospheric spaces, where great food brings great people together.
These kinds of events are new to York – and possibly Yorkshire – offering a fresh, more natural way to meet people who share your appetite for good conversation and better company.
This is just the beginning. More Good Taste Club evenings will be popping up in different venues across the city, each with its own menu, atmosphere and chance to connect.
Arrive from 7.30pm for welcome drinks and introductions. Dinner is served from 8pm, a carefully chosen three-course menu, pre-ordered in advance, with seating arranged to encourage natural conversation and an even balance of men and women at the table. After the main course, there’ll be a relaxed seat shift to keep conversation flowing and connections forming.
This is about good taste, in every sense of the word - good food, good company, and the chance to meet people who are looking for something a little more real.
